Theresa Rudesill is the founder of the 4th Wall Theatre Company. She found her love for performing when she was very young. In middle school, she auditioned for her first show. She fell in love with the story telling aspect of theatre. She performed all throughout high school and thought that she would stop there. But she found herself longing for the ability to jump into story telling again. She decided that she could not live a life without theatre, so she switched gears and majored in performing arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. There she was introduced to the other elements of theatre, from design to stage management to directing and much more. She fell in love with all of the elements necessary to make a story come to life. After graduating, she received an internship at a professional theatre in Bellport, NY. The internship showed her that she missed being a part of all the aspects of theatre. When she returned to Lafayette, she saw that there was a space for professional theatre. This is where the idea of her own company came to life.
